Chapter 2023

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since my writing on “what I’ve learned in 2022” and yes, It’s almost a year from that time. I don’t know why but I feel like year 2023 really flies swiftly and it almost come to an end now. Then, please allow me to share with you in a gist all the valuable lessons that I earned this year.

Be happy with what you have while working for what you want

Since I was a kid, my parents always come up to me with that wise words that I just heard but I do not listen. However, these past few months I tried to change my perspectives. I can breathe, I am free, I have no dietary restriction, I have my loved ones around me, and so on and so forth. How can we be not happy with what we already have? While, people out there might long for the life that we have.

Never ever let your ego rule yourself by letting go what you have on journey toward your “wants”.

Be happy in your own company

In whatever status you are right now, believe me you have to be happy, alone. We cannot depend our happiness to our spouse or partner. To be honest, my partner is not responsible to my happiness and vice versa. Apart from that, everyone in this world is temporary. During ‘alone time’ we can discover ourselves even more, our likes and dislikes, what we really want in life and also what are the intrinsic values that we accommodate.

When I am fulfilled, my mind is clearer and wiser so that I can be more productive during the day.

People change and so do you

Do you ever experience in friendships or even in romantic relationships that your loved ones have changed over time? I used to think It is so weird or maybe he is not into me anymore but now I truly understand that IT IS NORMAL.

TIME FLIES, PEOPLE CHANGE.

That pickup line hits me hard but I have to swallow it. It happens to me too. I used to think that I am an extrovert but as I get older, I do enjoy solitude and more extra time alone. When I have spent hours socializing outside my nutshell then I have to recharge my energy by staying at home and do my hobbies alone. As the time goes by, we are being influenced by our experiences, people, beliefs and other things that change us emotionally and physically. Well, in my case I have to admit that now I’m more into ambivert.

Therefore, I do normalize this “changes” that happen within me and people around me. Yes, people do change. People do transform and it is okay.

Sometimes you win sometimes you learn

It is such a beautiful quote, beautiful to read but extremely hard to apply it in our daily life. Yes, in life your chance is always 50/50, 50% that you might succeed and 50% that you might flunk. I used to be frightened by challenges that life throws at me. However, now I shift my mindset to “It’s better for me to give it a shot then to regret the chance that I pass”. By having that mindset, I’m not so scared any more.

I come to conclusion where no one who succeed never taste the bitterness of failure, but they LEARN from it how to thrive next.

Invest in your health not only your wealth

Nowadays people are so active in wealth investment such as in crypto, foreign exchanges or even in other commodities. They forget to invest in something more important which is their health. Many youngsters are so obsessed to be thriving under 30 so that they sacrifice their time and health to be a high achiever.

The truth is we have to love and take care of our body, mind and soul seriously too.

Invest in having a healthy life style and have a workout routine. Have that proper sleep every day. Be kind and gentle to our body by listening more to their needs. If your under-eyes are puffy, please go to bed earlier and have a deep sleep. Then, if you are bloating, please take care of what goes inside your body. Keep your self-hydrated by drinking 2 Liter of water daily.

Health is our best investment in a long run, so please take care of it with all your heart.

I think that’s all I can share with you tonight. I Hope the things that I learn and earn this year could inspire you guys to grow and glow. In what ever life stage you are right now, I wish you all the happiness!

God bless you ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
